Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be up against Southern Punjab in the evening match of the National T20 Cup on Tuesday. The Khyber team started off with a comfortable win in the tournament opener against Balochistan. The opposition’s innings was built on Imam-ul-Haq’s 51-ball 70. Three batsmen in Pakhtunkhwa’s top four got to 30-run mark to help them chase down with 17 balls to spare.
The Southern Punjab, on the other hand, started off win a defeat against Northern team on Monday afternoon. None of Southern Punjab’s line-up got good scores leaving them at 135/9 in 20 overs. Mohammad Irfan’s twin strikes in the powerplay didn’t matter at the end as the chase became easy more than what it looked as the Northern team got good contributions from the top-order.
