Team India defeated Bangladesh in the first-ever Day-Night Test that was played at the Eden Gardens. It was a historic game for both the side as they had never played under the lights in the longer format. The newly-appointed BCCI President Sourav Ganguly’s efforts made it happen. After the game concluded, he got poured with wishes from every nook and corner across the globe. And, Ravi Shastri also echoed in the same voice but ended up getting trolled by the fans yet again.

With a win at Eden Test, Virat Kohli and Co. registered their second consecutive series win with a whitewash in the longer format. It also helped them to consolidate their position in the ICC Test Championship in which they are leading the charts with 360 points. Now, the margin between Team India and the side ranked second i.e… Australia is of 244 points.

Ravi Shastri comes up with a heartwarming post for Sourav Ganguly

The jam-packed crowd witnessed the history at the Eden Gardens. Also, the game was attended by many big sports personalities along with the former Indian cricketers. Ganguly, the architect of the landmark game, was the person responsible for organizing the match on short notice. The whole city turned Pink thanks to him and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).

After the game concluded, Ravi Shastri also came out to praise his efforts. He took to his Twitter handle, and wrote, “Great pink show in Kolkata. President @SGanguly99 ensured no stone was left unturned.” As soon as the post attracted the netizens’ sight, they were quick to come up with a flurry of hilarious responses.

In the first-ever pink ball game, the Indian pacers trio was at its helm best, who shared all the wickets between them with no wicket going into the courtyard of the spinners. But, it was a joint team effort that helped the hosts to register an emphatic win over the Tigers.
