The biopic on Indian limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’ is all set to hit the theatres in a month’s time and quite a few stories from his personal life are coming up, which is also one of the ways to market the film.

Before becoming an international cricketer, he was a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) at the Kharagpur Railway Station of Jharkhand, which is the longest railway station in the country.

As reported by Sportskeeda, director of the movie Neeraj Pandey recently revealed that Dhoni used to play ghost pranks with his friends during the working days. “The tallest of them, wrapped up in a white sheet, would stand under a lamp post waiting for someone to come along the road. The driver would brake to a sudden halt on seeing the ‘ghost’ who would then run towards the car, causing him to desperately press down on the accelerator as he attempted to flee. As they watched the tyres screech and the car skid, Dhoni, and his roommates would guffaw in the shadows, later patting the ‘ghost’ for a job well done,” he said.

Neeraj also said that Dhoni once moved into a house that overlooked a cricket ground and he would stand in the balcony and watch the action. “They moved houses a few times and one of them overlooked a cricket ground. Dhoni would stand on the balcony and watch matches, never imagining that one day he’d play a Ranji match on the same ground.”

The film will be released on September 30. The trailer, which has been released in several languages has received a great response from the audience which would definitely give the makers lot of confidence ahead of the important day.
