When you mention the name Nicholas Pooran, there would be a sense of fear that would envelop a bowler. The left-hander is capable of destroying bowling attacks at will and can hit humungous sixes with ease. And at the age of 25, Pooran has already left his mark as one of the most feared batsmen in world cricket today.

The West Indian participated in the famous show ’25 questions’ with ESPNCricinfo and opened up on a range of topics. Pooran stated that he would try to knock a bowler down if he tries to shoulder barge him, and also revealed that Andre Fletcher is the best cook in the West Indian cricket team. He also said that the Indian side is his second favorite international team after the West Indies, and also opined that Darren Bravo has the ‘prettiest’ cover drive in the game today.

Pooran confidently said that he would definitely beat Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis in a 100M sprint. The 25-year-old also opined that Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis have the best bromance in the game.

Nicholas Pooran reveals who would hit the most sixes in an over

Pooran also opined that Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma are the willow wielders who are capable of scoring the first-ever T20 double hundred. And surely, those two choices make a lot of sense. While Gayle holds the record for the highest individual score in the T20I format when he smashed 175 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) side in the IPL, Sharma has scored a staggering 4 hundreds in T20I cricket.

Both these batsmen are also behemoths in IPL cricket as well. While Sharma has scored 5230 runs in IPL cricket, Gayle has scored 4772 runs and has also plundered 6 centuries.

Pooran also stated that his favorite T20 league is the IPL. The left-hander was also asked as to who among him, Andre Russell, Chris Gayle, and Kieron Pollard could hit the most sixes in an over. And, after some thought, Pooran revealed that it would be the ‘Universe Boss’. And once again, that is a good choice. Gayle has scored a whopping 1008 sixes in T20 cricket and is the only batsman on the planet to have scored more than 1000 sixes.
