The fourth Test between India and England is currently on at The Oval where England is currently batting after they chose to bowl first. However, the same incident that has been happening in England series so far, took place on the second day. It has been seen that a pitch invader named Jarvo comes running randomly on the field and starts playing from India’s side.
It has to be noted that when on day two of the fourth Test, Umesh Yadav was ready to bowl, Jarvo came running up to bowl a delivery. During his run-up, he even nudged Jonny Bairstow, who was standing on the non-striker’s end. This was the third time when Jarvo had intruded on the field while the match was in action.
Jarvo interrupted the game at The Lord’s too as he came running on the field. After he arrives on the field, he is seen being forced by security personnel out of the ground as he refuses to leave himself. In the recent turn of events, Jarvo permanently got banned from Headingley, Leeds after his weird tactics during the course of the play. As he came on the field this time, Twitteratis started bashing him.
Here is how Twitter reacted to Jarvo’s entry at The Oval
If this happened thrice in India during covid, English media and ex-cricketers would have asked for Ganguly's head. https://t.co/33a2cp6PHX

If it were any other country, especially a sub-continent nation, think about the outrage that would have followed. #PitchInvader #ENGvsIND

Don't tell me the whole #Jarvo saga is a broadcaster/home board PR stunt! It's stupid either way. 0/100 either to the stunt or the security. #EngvInd

If some numpty can get on the field (for the third time this series) what's stopping a genuinely malicious person doing the same and throwing something more harmful than a ball at the players? Massive issue over security IMO #ENGvIND

I WILL REPEAT IT AGAIN! CROWD INVASIONS, PRANKS INCLUDED, ARE NOT FUNNY!
ALL IT TAKES IS ONE IDIOT! ASK MONICA SELES!
FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE GLORIFYING THE IDIOT, IT ENCOURAGES COPYCATS AND ANY ONE OF THEM CAN DO SERIOUS DAMAGE! #ENGvsIND

Jarvo is back on the field of play. And this time he’s physically bumped into Olie Pope. I hope nobody is seeing humour in it anymore. Appalling that he’s allowed to attend every game in this series. #EngvInd

How does this Jarvo keep getting let into grounds????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wonder whether #Jarvo running on to every ground is some PR/marketing gimmick?

This not funny anymore😡#Jarvo entering the cricket field and reaching the main wicket should be taken as a serious offence now. pic.twitter.com/Ji7U2uDLc1

A sudden flurry of boundaries and the game is seesawing again. India need a few tight overs to pull this one back,a wicket would be even better. Bairstow-Pope partnership looks ominous!
P.S- Don't see the humour in this jarvo guy,not funny anymore!#INDvENG #Ovaltest

imagine if in consecutive tests at Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai the same dude managed to breach security and invade the ground #ENGvIND

This Jarvo bloke is an absolute fuckwit. Must be the worst bloke I’ve ever seen near a cricket field. And I played 12 years of grade cricket.

Oh ffs. Jarvo is back. Third time this summer. Very much not funny any more.

Talking about the match, India lost the toss and was asked to bat first. However, the decision quite didn’t go their way and batsmen started getting dismissed in no time. Only Indian skipper Virat Kohli and all-rounder Shardul Thakur added 50 crucial runs to put India to a total of 191 runs. The middle-order failed again miserably where Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant’s constant failure became the talking point on day one.
However, when hosts came up with bats, Indian bowlers especially Umesh Yadav seemed in the best rhythm. He uprooted Joe Root by the end of day one and pulled India out of the spot of worry. England is currently on the crease while Ollie Pope and Jonny Bairstow are holding their fort. They are battling it out on 137 runs with five wickets down. It will be a thing to see if they will be able to put any lead for the home side.
