India’s young Chinaman sensation, Kuldeep Yadav, who has owned the International stage after making his debut this year, claimed that he has no intention of replacing seasoned campaigners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. Kuldeep also talked about his newly formed partnership with Yuzvendra Chahal in the limited-over format for India.

It was only a few days back, Kuldeep Yadav became the third Indian to clinch a hattrick in ODIs for after Kapil Dev and Chetan Sharma. Kuldeep picked up the wickets of Wade, Agar and Cummins of successive deliveries in the Kolkata ODI to cement his place in the One Day Side ahead of Ravi Ashwin and Jadeja.

“I don’t think of that far. Both Ash and Jaddu bhai have been consistent performers for India in all the three formats. There’s no question of thinking about replacing them,” claimed Kuldeep Yadav according to India Times. Yadav then went on to state about his chemistry with fellow wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

“I have a very good partnership going on with Chahal. We know each other for five years. It’s easy to understand each other’s plans. It helps on the ground if we keep talking to each other. There’s a good understanding going on between us. We bowl in partnerships in a match as well, the difference is evident,” further added the 22-year old.

“We talk about the wicket, whether it’s fast or skids. I ask him how the ball is responding on a particular wicket and things like that. It’s very useful for me and the team,” briefed the chinaman bowler on his conversations with Chahal. The Kolkata Knight Riders spinner then revealed about the role Shane Warne played in his career as an idol.

“I’ve followed Shane Warne since childhood. He’s my idol. My life will be a success if I could achieve 50 percent of what he has achieved. I stay in touch with him. His wristwork, flight and drift, and the way he deceives any batsman. I will be successful if I get to learn something from him,” concluded Kuldeep Yadav.
