As Sri Lanka folded up for 117 runs today, New Zealand chased it with more than 40 overs to spare as Guptill raced his way to a power hitting 93* of just 31 balls. He broke a flurry of records today as Sri Lanka were defeated in all the three departments.
Earlier McClenaghan and Matt Henry applied brakes to the SL innings as they took 7 wickets altogether. The Kiwis will now look to win the 3rd ODI as well and with that take the an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.
