Old lady mimics Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action; video goes viral

Despite India crashing out of the World Cup 2019, Jasprit Bumrah is the most trending fast bowler at the moment. He was the highest wicket-taker for Men in Blue and was lauded for shouldering the responsibility of India’s pace attack. He gave his best to make sure the fellow pacers would pick up wickets. For instance, against Afghanistan, the way Bumrah mounted pressure on the Afghan batsman but they gave away wickets to Mohammad Shami bowling from the other end.

With the help of Bumrah’s attacking bowling, India to an extent were successful in restricting the opponents in the first powerplays. With the new balls, at the start of every inning, Bumrah Wreaked havoc and piled mountains against the rivals and plugged daggers with his unbelievable yorkers. After the World Cup campaign, Bumrah turned out to be arguably one of the best death bowlers. With the old balls also, Bumrah made his statement every time stepped in for bowling in the death overs.

His best bowling figures were 4/55 and he probably was the only bowler in the Men in Blue campaign who troubled the rival batters utmost. The next best Indian bowler was Mohammad Shami with 14 wickets which came in only 4 matches. His jubilant wicket-taking run included a hat-trick, which came against Afghanistan. Had there been some support from India tweakers, things might have panned out a bit differently.

Jasprit Bumrah stands top on the ICC ODI rankings and has made a lasting impression in his maiden year with the red ball cricket.
