The 1st game of the 2020 Oman Tri-Nation ODI Series part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 will be played between Oman and the United Arab Emirates at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1).
The match starts at 9:30 AM local time (5:30 AM GMT) (11:00 PM IST).
Oman will be hosting the 4th Tri-series of the ICC Men’s CWC League 2 starting on Sunday which features the United Arab Emirates and Namibia as the other two teams. Oman, who were part of the Tri-series in Scotland, won their first three matches before losing the 4th game. They sealed a place in the Men’s T20 CWC to be played in Australia this year. On the other hand, the UAE team managed to win only one game during the home Tri-series held in December. They will be looking to improve their position in the points table.
No threat from rain is expected for the opening match of the Tri-series to be played on Sunday.
The Ministry Turf 1 was on the slower side during the recent CWC Challenge. Scores around 220 were quite common in that tournament and the chasing side were benefited by low targets. Six of the seven completed matches in the competition were won by the chasing teams only.

UAE is expected to win the tournament opener against Oman.
