Pakistan cricket team are at the receiving end of all the criticism after their two back to back defeats against India in the ongoing Asia Cup. They have not even put up a fight in any of those game forget winning and also got out of the jail against Afghanistan in a last-over thriller. However, their coach Mickey Arthur has expressed confidence in his side and feels that they will beat Bangladesh and eventually India to win the tournament.

After the recent Super Four clash, Arthur had admitted that there was a fear of failure and confidence crisis in the dressing room and his team is much better. The loss has made their game against Bangladesh a virtual semi-final which will be played on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.

“They’re suffering a confidence crisis at the moment, there’s a little bit of fear of failure in the dressing room, there’s a bit of a reality check for exactly where we are as a cricket team,” he had earlier said while speaking to the reporters in the post-match press conference.

We will win against Bangladesh

Mickey Arthur, on the eve of the do-or-die encounter, looked upbeat about his team’s chances of qualifying to the final and has challenged indirectly to be ready to face them in the title clash. If, at all, Pakistan beats Bangladesh, then the two teams will be meeting in the second final in two years in the multi-nation tournament.

“Pakistan will win their last Super Four game against Bangladesh on Wednesday and they will then take revenge for the two losses against India by beating them in the final,” Arthur was quoted as saying by Pak Passion.

Meanwhile, India have already sealed their place in the final and will be challenged by Afghanistan today in an inconsequential game in the Asia Cup.
