PCB is sleeping in my case as I am a proud Hindu: Danish Kaneria

Danish Kaneria is currently serving a lifetime ban for getting involved in spot-fixing. He is quite vocal about the discrimination that is being made in Pakistan cricket team based on the religion. And, he quotes himself as one of its victims. Now, he has bombarded some more statements saying that the cricket board is sleeping in his case.

The 39-year-old spinner made his debut back in 2000 for Pakistan and went onto play in 61 Tests and 18 ODIs. He grabbed a total of 276 wickets across all the formats for his national side. There was no doubt over the fact that he could have been one of the best spinners in the history of Pakistan’s cricket. But, he was sidelined from the team without any proper reason. Even the fans don’t know the reason behind his fallout from the team.

Kaneria sought help from Pakistan PM Imran Khan

After getting sidelined for long, Danish Kaneria went onto play county cricket for Essex. In 2009, he was handed with a lifetime ban for provoking his team-mate Mervyn Westfield to concede 12 runs in an over during a one-day game against Durham in 2009. However, he has always come out saying that the Pakistan cricket board never helped him neither emotionally nor financially.

Recently, he posted a series of tweet, in which he wrote that PCB is sleeping in his case as he is a proud Hindu. He also urged help from the Imran Khan, who is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. Further, he also wrote that he is going to apply for the coaching role. And, soon he will share the proposal with the cricket board.

His first post read, “Pakistan cricket Board sleeping in my case Bec Iam Proud Hindu Jai Ambey , Bhagwan have mercy on me hope Imran Khan the PM of Pakistan will help I request , sub ka hoga accept why not mine.”

His next tweet read, “I will share soon the letter to pcb and reply of pcb Iam citizen of Pakistan I just ask them to rehabilitate me they are saying No why??????????? I can’t play atleast do coaching.”

This is not the first time that Kaneria has spill beans against PCB. Earlier, he had also talked about some of Pakistan cricketers, who poorly behaved with him as he was a proud Hindu.
