“The wait is over. Presenting to you the official #HBLPSL7 anthem. “Agay Dekh” featuring Atif Aslam, Aima Baig and Abdullah Siddiqui,” wrote the official Twitter page of PSL while sharing the video.

“Pakistani cricket has given us many moments to cherish, and this year’s PSL anthem carries forward the nationwide spirit and culture surrounding it. Pakistan’s biggest sporting event is a festival and a celebration, and the anthem pays tribute to everyone who waits excitedly for this time of year,” PCB was quoted as saying by Geo TV.

“With “Agay dekh” we have strived to showcase how much we love cricket, as well as capture the attitude, the fierceness and the banter that houses that love,” the cricket board said further. Meanwhile, last year’s PSL anthem was titled “Groove Mera” and it also became an instant hit. The song featured Naseebo Lal, Aima Baig and Young Stunners.

Meanwhile, defending champions Multan Sultans will be up against Karachi Kings in the opening game of the competition. Hence, it will be Babar Azam vs Mohammad Rizwan at the National Stadium in Karachi. Speaking of the playing conditions, if any team loses players due to COVID-19 positive results, then they can seek technical committee’s permission for replacement from the reserve pool of players.

Also, the television umpires will be calling no balls. While there’s a reserve day for the final clash, the team finishing at better position in the points table will be declared champions if the reserve day is also washed out.
