Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput killed himself last Sunday in his residence in Mumbai to leave the nation shocked. Aged only 34, the actor loved cricket and was often seen in the stadium during the IPL or for India’s matches. His association with the sport was even close thanks to MS Dhoni‘s biopic which released in September 2016.

He enacted the former India skipper perfectly on the silver screen. Interestingly, Sushant had listed down his bucket list in one of his old tweets and it went viral after his death. One of his dreams was to play cricket left-handed and the man had completed it in October last year.

The late actor had posted a video of him bowling left-handed and then was seen batting with the same hand as well in a game zone. It was his third wish which was completed then and was determined to fulfill all of those it seems. “Live Soon.:)???????? —— Dream 3/50 ——Play a Cricket match left-handed. ???? #livingmydreams ???? #lovingmydreams.

Here’s his tweet:

Cricket fraternity continues to react

Meanwhile, even after five days of Sushant Singh Rajput’s passing away, the fans and the cricketing fraternity are yet to come to terms with it. In an interview to Hindustan Times, India pacer Mohammed Shami stated that the late actor was his friend and he would’ve talked to him had he known about Sushant’s condition.

“Depression is a problem that needs attention. It was unfortunate to see such a brilliant actor like Sushant Singh Rajput lose his life. He was a friend and I wish I could talk to him had I known about his mental condition,” he said. On Sunday, the cricketers like Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar among many others expressed shock over his suicide on their respective Twitter handles.

Raina reminisced the times spent with Sushant Singh Rajput when he used to stay with the team during MS Dhoni biopic shoot. ““Shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput. Met him several times as he spent time with us for Mahi’s biopic. We’ve lost a handsome, ever-smiling actor. Om Shanti!” Raina’s tweet read.
