Harbhajan Singh is celebrating his birthday today. And, 3rd July 2021 is not only special for ‘Bhajji’ as he turns 41 today, but is a double delight for him as the makers of his movie ‘Friendship’ have also released the poster of his debut film on the occasion of Harbhajan’s birthday as well.

The film will also star popular hero Arjun Sarja, comedian Sathish as well as Losliya Marliyanesan. The directors of this flick are Sham Surya and John Paul Raj, while the producers of this movie are Kiran Reddy Mandadi and Ram Maddukuri.

Harbhajan is not new to acting, as he has made cameo appearances in movies such as Bhaji in Problem and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. His current movie, Friendship will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Harbhajan Singh is a legend of Indian cricket

Harbhajan Singh is one of the most distinguished bowlers to have ever worn the Indian jersey. The right-arm spinner has scalped over 700 wickets in international cricket and represented India in 103 Tests, 236 ODIs, and 28 T20Is. While he picked up 25 five-wicket hauls in the whites, he also scalped 3 five-wicket hauls in the ODI format of the game as well.

Harbhajan also won the Player of the Series award in the 2001 Test series against Australia at home, and this particular series win(India beat Australia 2-1) is hailed as one of the greatest achievements of the Indian cricket team in the last two decades. In the three-match Test series, Harbhajan was in his element and picked up a colossal 32 wickets.

Also, ‘Bhajji’ was an integral part of the Indian squad that won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 as well as the fifty-over World Cup in 2011 as well. Harbhajan Singh also played 163 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and scalped 150 wickets as well. In fact, Harbhajan Singh is the 5th highest wicket-taker in IPL cricket. He has also picked up a five-wicket haul in his IPL career as well.
