Prithvi Shaw, the young sensation from Mumbai, has tasted a significant amount of success in the last one year or so. He went on to captain India U19 to glory in the World Cup last year in New Zealand. Then he plied his trade for Delhi Daredevils, now Capitals in the last Indian Premier League (IPL). The 19-year-old didn’t have trouble in breaking into the India A team.

Soon after, he was called up the Test team in India’s five-match series against England. He didn’t get to play in that series but got a chance in the eleven in the Test series against the Windies in October. The Thane-born didn’t flatter to deceive and raced to his maiden Test century in Rajkot. The exciting young talent then went on to become the Player of the Series as well.

Prithvi Shaw turns creative

Luck had something different in store for him as he developed an ankle injury and was ruled out of the Test series against Australia. Nevertheless, Shaw didn’t throw in the towel and made a fast recovery. He is currently plying his trade in the ongoing edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament where he has managed 131 runs in six matches with one half-century.

In the meantime, Shaw posted a picture on the social media along with MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, both of whom have scaled heights in their respective career. Prithvi took a cue from the Ranveer Singh-starrer Gully Boy to caption the picture where he was sitting in the middle.

He used the lyrics of the song “Tere bhai jaisa koi Hard ich nahin hai” from the movie. He captioned the picture and wrote, “Yeh BHAI log jaisa koi Hard ich nahi hai @imVkohli @msdhoni #legends, (No one is as tough as these two). Bearing in mind, Dhoni and Kohli’s records, their toughness, both as an individual and cricketer, can’t be doubted by any means.
