The 36-year-old is a highly promising batsman and allures everyone with his beautiful drives. The purity of his cuts and pulls make him one of the promising person with the bat in hand. However,  his glovework is always on the downside and is a major reason for him being axed. Apart from letting his team down behind the stumps, Kamran form with the bat also declined in the recent times. The PSL was the perfect platform for him to make a mark and come back to the national team.

And, Kamran didn’t disappoint the fans one bit. He finished as the second highest run-scorer in the tournament just behind Luke Ronchi by 10 runs. Although Kamran didn’t have a great outing to see his team through in the finals, he would be proud of what he has achieved. Scoring runs at an average close to 40, Kamran definitely deserves a chance in the national side.
