The third edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will enter its second week soon as the teams have played a few matches now. All the teams have found their settled combination with the tournament going deep now. Though there is a fantasy league named Cricket Dream Team which allows a user to create own team which will include the players from PSL teams. However, Ahmed Shehzad picked Rashid Khan in his dream team and both were involved in an interesting conversation on social media.

The legendary cricketer Shahid Afridi who is featuring for Karachi Kings in this season recently endorsed the fantasy league application. He urged his followers on Twitter to prepare their own dream team which will have the potential to beat his team. He also created the hashtag as ‘#BeatLalakiTeam’.

Ahmed Shehzad is playing for Multan Sultans, the new franchise this year and has fare decently so far in the PSL. During his free time from cricket, he decided to prepare the fantasy team and shared it on Twitter with the trending tag  ‘#BeatLalakiTeam’. He selected the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Tymal Mills, Thisara Perera, Andre Russell and Rashid Khan among his foreign recruits in his team.

His tweet read, “Had fun putting together my T20 team on the Cricket Fantasy League today that will #BeatLalaKiTeam!! Let’s rock this app together..can u make a team that beats them all??!! Well what u waiting for!!”

Rashid Khan, who is missing the T20 tournament this year due to his national committment, was delighted to see him in Shehzad’s team and thanked him for the same. However, the reply of the Pakistani cricketer was absolutely gold as it won the hearts of many cricket fans. Shahzad replied him saying that his team couldn’t have completed before his inclusion and also congratulated him for their win over Windies in the warm-up match ahead of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
