The 2nd Match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 season will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium in Karachi.

After a scintillating start to the sixth edition of the PSL on Saturday with the game between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, the Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi will get their campaign underway. The Qalandars will be led by Sohail Akhtar who will have T20 veterans like Mohammad Hafeez, Ben Dunk, Samit Patel among others up his sleeve throughout the season.

The Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, have the top run-getter of PSL, Kamran Akmal who will be itching to prove his point yet again. Another T20 veteran Shoaib Malik will be eager to make an impact as well while the skipper Wahab Riaz will be keen to lead from the front.

Mohammad Hafeez

He is 40 years old but Mohammad Hafeez can never be counted out. He is coming off a decent stint in the T10 League. The T20 veteran has scored 1002 runs in 45 innings in his PSL career so far with six fifties and a strike-rate of 117.33. He can adapt to any role in the line-up according to the match situation and certainly, the Qalandars will bank on his experience yet again to come good in their opening game.
