With two wins from six matches and a net run rate of -0.099, the Sultans are placed fifth in the points table and need to climb up the ladder. Their next match is against the Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday, June 13 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

In the bowling department, Wahab Riaz needs to lead the pack as he is their leading wicket-taker. Mohammad Imran has picked only four wickets, but he has been the most frugal among the Zalmi bowlers with an economy rate of 7.30. The other bowlers also need to come to the party.
