Preview:
Qatar might not be travelling to the T20 World Cup Qualifiers starting next week but they did take down the table topper of the Europe-Region Qualifiers. Jersey, who is one of the 14 sides to be part of the qualification tournament, lost twice in two days to Qatar in the T20I series. The 3-match T20I series has been sealed by the home team with one game still to be played.
Jersey made a quick-fire start to their innings after winning the toss and electing to bat first. The opening stand added 54 in only 4.4 overs but the remaining failed to score even at run-a-ball. Only 87 runs came in the next 15.2 overs as they were limited to just 141/7. Qatar were reduced to 25/3 in the chase and were 63/4 by 10th over. But Muhammad Tanveer’s unbeaten fifty ensured they won by 6 wickets.
Weather Condition/Report:
Another bright and sunny day is expected for this T20I series between Qatar and Jersey producing no interruption.
Pitch Condition/Report:
The game on Thursday witnessed the real potential of the Doha pitch which is quite good for the chasing teams. The total of 141 was always tough to defend here especially under lights. Jersey needs to do much better with the ball than 25/3 in 4 overs or 63/4 in 10 overs to defend such a low score here.
Average first innings score: 158 (T20I matches)
Record of chasing teams: Won – 3, Lost – 1, Tie – 1

Expert Advice:
There were a couple of changes from Jersey after the defeat in the first match. We might not see any big moves for the 3rd T20I as they need a win ahead of T20 CWC Qualifier. If they treat this as a warm-up, we can expect quite a few changes.
Probable Winners:
Jersey is expected to bag a consolation win and bring down the series line to 1-2.
