The Under-19 Quadrangular One-Day series involves Afghanistan and South Africa along with the two Indian teams in form of India A and India B. The first game of the one-week tournament will be played between India A Under-19s and South Africa Under-19s on Tuesday. The tournament will be hosted by Kerala and two matches will be played in Thumba and Trivandrum simultaneously on four different days.
The South Africa U19’s tour of India began on February 20th as the visitors were involved in a 2-match Youth Test series. The hosts cruised to a 2-0 series win by defeating the Proteas Youth side comfortably. In the first game at the St Xavier’s College Ground, the India U-19s won by a 9-wicket margin and registered an innings and 154-run margin win during the 2nd game played at the Greenfield Stadium.
The 1st match of the Quadrangular U19 One-Day series between India Under-19s A and South Africa Under-19s will be hosted by the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum.
The match starts at 9:00 AM local time (IST) (3:30 AM GMT).
The Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum witnessed some low scoring games recently. The 2nd half of the Unofficial ODI series between India A and England Lions produced scores under 220.

Harsh Dubey has been brilliant with both the bat and ball in the Under-19 tournaments for his Vidarbha team. He bagged 35 wickets in 11 matches during the Cooch Behar Trophy at an average of 26. Dubey also scored 467 runs at an average of 42.45 with help of two hundreds. In the One-Day tournament, Harsh bagged 20 wickets in 11 matches for Vidrabha and also scored 204 at an average of 34.
