The India Under-19s A kick-started the Quadrangular One-Day series with a big win against the South Africa Under-19s team. Fifties from Shashwat Rawat and Qamran Iqbal powered the hosts to a winning total of 251/10 despite a lower-order collapse. The India A U19s bowlers were relentless against the South African Youth whom they bundled out to just 94.

On the other hand, the Afghanistan Under-19s suffered a big defeat against India Under-19s B team. The Afghan team batted 47.3 overs but were bowled out for only 106. The visiting side had their moments in the defence of a low total as they reduced the India U19 B team to three down for five runs in four overs. However, the home side finished the chase with no further loss in 22.5 overs.

Match Details:

The 3rd match of the U19 Quadrangular One-Day series between India A Under-19s and Afghanistan Under-19s will be hosted by the Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum.

The match starts at 9:00 AM local time (IST) (3:30 AM GMT).

Pitch Condition/Report:

The Greenfield Stadium in Trivandrum is expected to get tougher for the batsmen as the game progresses. It witnessed some low scoring games recently but India U19s A managed to cross 250 during the first game of the tournament.
