Cricket has witnessed many changes over the years, and the process of transition will continue with time. Earlier, there was only Test cricket where two teams battled it out for five days to emerge victorious. While the purest form of the game remained in the picture, the limited-overs format was introduced to enhance the thrill of the game.

From format to rules and even the colour of the ball, many aspects of the game changed with the introduction of ODIs. Coloured jerseys also came in tradition to give a new dimension to the gentleman’s game. Earlier, teams used to sport white kit, and there wasn’t much difference in the attire of all sides. However, coloured clothing became the norm in one-day international cricket since the 1992 World Cup.

This indeed gave a new taste to the game as fans were able to differentiate between two sides clearly. Also, players standing in hurdles and celebrating with their stylish jerseys is a sight to behold. However, change is the only constant in cricket as we mentioned above. Hence, all the top teams have been modifying their jerseys after a certain time. While several designs excited the fans, some kits failed to impress.

Here we’ll rank the top 10 jerseys in international cricket

10. India – 2014 T20 World cup

India has been one of the most successful teams in cricket history. While many players from the country made a mark worldwide, the national jerseys have left the fashionistas impressed. India’s kit in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh has to be one of the best jerseys the national team has donned.

The blue colour was slightly darker than the previous jerseys, exhibiting the intensity in the team. On top of that, there were some red, white and green stripes to give the attire a bit more volume. The quality of the material made the jersey a bit shinier, which also impressed the fans. Hence, this jersey deserves a place on this list.

Notably, Team India enjoyed a memorable time in jersey. They defeated giants like Australia, England, West Indies and Sri Lanka in ODI series. Speaking of the shortest format, they reached the final of the 2014 T20 World Cup. Hence, one can say that this design also brought some luck for the Men in Blue.
