Pakistan will clash against England in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday (November 13). Both teams recorded dominating wins in their respective semi-final clash to set up a big final. England have three of their last five T20I meeting against Pakistan and have never lost a game against them in the T20 World Cup history.

England were not so convincing in the Super 12 group-stage round as they finished in the second position with seven points from the five games. They lost against Ireland on the D/L method and also struggled during their victories against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. But they put in their best performance against India in the semi-final clash with a dominating ten-wicket win.

Pakistan started their World Cup campaign with two defeats, including a narrow loss against India in the opening clash. But they made a great comeback with three wins from their last three Super 12 group-stage matches to finish in the second position in the Group 2 table with six points. They continued that momentum in the semi-final clash with a seven-wicket win over New Zealand.

Naseem Shah has struggled for the wickets in this World Cup but has been excellent with economical spells at an economy rate of 6.00 so far. England's Liam Livingstone conceded only 21 runs against India in the semi-final clash and has taken three wickets at an impressive economy rate of 7.27 in this tournament.

Second Pick: Babar Azam, Moeen Ali, Adhil Rashid

Babar Azam, ranked 4th in the ICC T20I batters chart, struggled for runs in the Super 12 group-stage fixtures. But he returned to his best against New Zealand in the semi-final clash and scored 53 runs off 42 balls to guide his team to the final. But he will be facing a tough challenge from English spinner Adil Rashid, who proved the economically best bowler against India in the semi-final clash. Rashid conceded only 20 runs with a big wicket of Suryakumar Yadav. Moeen Ali didn't get a chance to bat or bowl against India as England's openers managed to chaase the target without losing a wicket
