Rashid Khan lauds Mohammad Nabi's noble initiative

Afghanistan cricketers Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan share great camaraderie on and off the field. The two cricketers have been instrumental in making a big name for the Afghanistan cricket at the world stage. Not only have they performed exceedingly well in their national outfits, but also have been juggernauts in all the major T20 leagues.

Both Nabi and Rashid are globetrotters. In the IPL, they ply their trade for the same team Sunrisers Hyderabad. A couple of years ago, they had become the first two players from their nation to get an IPL contract. This did not end just there, and the two cricketers soon bagged BBL deals as well. Currently, they are plying their trade in the BBL 2018-19.

While the players are helping their respective side do well in the tournament, there are things that they are doing off the field, which is bagging the headlines too. Mohammad Nabi runs a foundation to help the needy. Recently, his foundation extended help and relief to many Afghan families as a part of a very noble initiative.

It is well-known fact that the strife-torn nation has been trying very hard to rebuild its legacy. And now, it seems that the cricketers are willing to play their part in every way possible. Jafar Haand, a journalist, posted pictures of this relief initiative on the social media. This drew praises from all corners and a lot of good wishes came in flooding for Mohammad Nabi for showing this goodwill.

Nabi’s good friend and teammate, Rashid Khan, was also quick to comment on the tweet and expressed his support for the cause. He commended the wonderful job of the Nabi Foundation and backed Nabi for his goodwill.
