Rashid Khan over the moon as Adam Gilchrist uses his image as profile picture on his Twitter account

Afghanistan sensation Rashid Khan has taken the cricketing world by storm ever since he has made his debut at the highest level. The 19-year-old is currently playing his first season of the ongoing seventh edition of Big Bash League (BBL) for Adelaide Strikers. His leg-spin bowling has bamboozled some of the great batsmen in the modern era of cricket. However, the youngster is currently extremely happy with the fact that Adam Gilchrist has used his image as a profile picture on his official Twitter account.
The former Australian legend is currently working as a commentator in the T20 extravaganza down under. He is in absolute awe of Rashid and his bowling as he rates him high. The Afghanistan player has also earned huge praises from Shane Warne himself and has been successful around the world in T20 leagues this year. Rashid had a successful Indian Premier League (IPL) with Sunrisers Hyderabad and also picked up a hat-trick in Caribbean Premier League. He looks set to own the BBL season as well and continue thrilling the world with his sensational bowling.
Dream come true for Rashid
Rashid Khan has gained a lot of praises for his debut performance for Adelaide Strikers couple of days ago against Sydney Thunder. His figures of 2/22 while defending a middling total also earned him Man of the Match award. His bowling in the middle-overs helped Strikers become the first team to win the match in BBL after opting to bat first since 2015/16 season. Gilchrist was heard hailing the youngster a lot and also he had taken to the micro-blogging website and had special words for him.
Gilly seems to be in awe of Rashid as he has now used his celebration picture in the first game for Strikers as his profile picture on his official Twitter account. Rashid Khan was ecstatic after knowing the same and couldn’t stop himself from posting the snapshot of it on Twitter. He was over the moon and felt like his dream had come true that the legend like Gilchrist has been rating him so high. Surely he deserves all the accolades and now needs to perform consistently to be an absolute legend in the game in the near future.
