Sunrisers Hyderabad are in the middle of a great run in the current edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with 6 wins in 8 matches. Though they share the same score with the table toppers Chennai Super Kings, a lesser net run rate puts them at number 2. Nevertheless, the team is looking quite formidable on the field, and as a result quite cheerful off it.

IPL always brings along with it a number of public events that the players have to attend, and in one such meet and greet event, SRH’s Afghanistan recruit Rashid Khan was seen showing off some of his Afghanistan dance skills to the beats of the popular Bollywood song Kala Chashma. A clip of the same was posted by the official Twitter handle of the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Here is the post:

Rashid has had a really good IPL so far, with 10 wickets from 8 matches at an average of 23.20. At present, he is third on the run for the purple cap holder. Right now, it belongs to his teammate Siddharth Kaul, who is ahead of the second-ranked Trent Boult only because of a lower economy rate.

Other than Rashid, a couple of other players were also there enjoying the evening. Among them, Sachin Baby was one, and he was pretty good at it. The video of his dance was tweeted by the SRH handle as well.

Here is the video:

Legendary spinner and SRH coach Muttiah Muralitharan was also seen shaking his legs to the music with the hosts of the evening.

What makes SRH’s success even more special is the fact that their premier pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been missing from the team for the last four matches and they’ve defended under-par totals in his absence. Sunrisers Hyderabad next goes up against the Delhi Daredevils at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on Saturday, May 5.
