Rashid Khan wishes Bhuvneshwar Kumar on his birthday

The pace bowler of India Bhuvneshwar Kumar is celebrating his 28th birthday on Monday as the cricketing fraternity is busy wishing on his special day. He is currently in South Africa involved in the ongoing six-match ODI series against the home side and has played a crucial role for India. The celebrations must have gone sky high in the Indian dressing room by cutting the cake. However, Rashid Khan has a special wish for his IPL teammate all over from Afghanistan.

Bhuvi and Rashid played for Sunrisers Hyderabad last year as the duo rocked the tournament throughout. While the former emerged as one of the best death bowlers of the tournament and also was the holder of the purple cap, the leggie from Afghanistan foxed many batsmen with his spin-bowling in his maiden IPL stint. Rashid was once again by SRH by using the Right to Match (RTM) card in the recently concluded IPL auction.

Rashid Khan is currently preparing for the first T20 International against Zimbabwe in Sharjah on Monday. However, despite being busy ahead of the crucial encounter, he took his time out and wished Bhuvi on his special day on Twitter. His birthday wish for the Indian swing bowler read, “Happy Birthday @BhuviOfficial Bhai.” The birthday boy was also active on social media and soon came up with the reply thanking the leg-spinner from Afghanistan.

Bhuvi is preparing for the third ODI against South Africa which will be played at Newlands in Cape Town on Wednesday (February 7). He has done extremely well so far on the tour picking the wickets consistently in the hard-fought Test series which India lost by 2-1. Bhuvi has also continued to display his prowess in the limited-overs format and has kept a lid on the batsmen of the home side upfront which has worked well for the team.
