Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper celebrated his 31st birthday on the 5th of November and on this special occasion wishes started pouring from every nook and corner of the world. The cricketing fraternity also extended their love for the Delhiite. Also, Ravi Shastri, the head coach of India came out on social media in order to share a post for the captain of the team but got trolled by the fans.

Ravi Shastri was appointed as the coach after Team India’s defeat in Champions Trophy 2017 final where the Men in Blue lost to Pakistan. And, since then the 57-year-old has been holding the charge of the team. Earlier, this year he was re-appointed for the same post for an extended period of two years by the Cricket Advisory Committee.

The Indian Head Coach shared a picture of him sitting alongside Virat Kohli, and also gave a caption to it, “Happy birthday young man. Enjoy the break and have a kick-ass year ahead. God bless. @imVkohli #HappyBirthdayVirat #KingKohli.”

Meanwhile, the post didn’t go down well with Ravi Shastri and was once again got trolled by the fans with some hilarious replies on his post.

The top-order batsman is currently on vacation with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in Bhutan and celebrated his special day with her. Later on, the birthday boy also took to his Twitter handle in order to thank his fans for their wishes and wrote, “What a blessing to be able to visit such divine places with my soulmate. Also, thank you, everyone, for your kind wishes from the bottom of my heart.”

Virat has been rested for the ongoing T20I series against Bangladesh and will mark his return from the two-match Test series against the same opponent. In his absence, the Indian selectors appointed Rohit Sharma as the skipper of the team. But, he didn’t get to a good start as he lost the series opener against Bangladesh by seven wickets.

And, now the second T20I is scheduled to take place in Rajkot on the 7th of November, where the hosts would be eager to bounce back in the three-match series in which they are currently lagging.
