Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise has taken the box office by storm as fans have given a big thumbs up to the action thriller. The movie has been performing exceptionally well in theatres across the globe in all languages. Many fans and even members of the film fraternity have also been enacting the iconic dialogues of the movie on social media.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also belongs to that category. The 33-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday (December 23) and shared a reel of him recreating Arjun’s famous dialogue from the movie. He was also sporting a similar look to that of Allu Arjun’s in the film – dense beard, and curled hair. “#pushpa,” wrote Jadeja while sharing the snap.

Needless to mention, the comment section got flooded in no time as fans gave their opinion on Jadeja’s act. Left-arm wrist spinner also dropped a cheeky comment. “next movie waiting…..!” he wrote alongside some face-with-tears emoji.

Meanwhile, Jadeja was last seen in India’s two-match Test series against New Zealand at home. The left-arm spinner delivered a lethal spell in the first game in Kanpur and took a four-wicket haul during the Kiwi team’s last innings. However, he was ruled out of the subsequent Mumbai Test due to a forearm injury.

The southpaw is likely to take some more time for recovery as he hasn’t been picked in India’s squad for the upcoming three-match Test series in South Africa. “All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja suffered a right forearm injury during the 1st Test match in Kanpur. After undergoing scans, he was diagnosed with a swelling on his forearm. He has been advised rest and is thus ruled out of the 2nd Test in Mumbai,” BCCI had stated in a press release ahead of the Mumbai Test.

It must be noted that Jadeja has been India’s primary all-rounder in overseas Tests. Hence, his absence might hamper India’s chances of winning a maiden Test series in the rainbow nation. Nevertheless, India will have services of veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who also can been pretty effective in the batting department. Meanwhile, it remains to be seen whether Jadeja will be available for the subsequent three-match ODI series or not.
