I respect Mr Afridi a lot, says Arshi Khan; admits that the 'sex' tweet was a mistake on her part

The controversial Indian model Arshi Khan had shocked the world a few years ago after she had claimed to have been physically involved with the former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. She has been in the news for her alleged relationship with the renowned cricketer ever since then and has always come out with controversial statements every now and then. However, Arshi is now feeling apologetic about the marred episode and has cleared that she respects Afridi a lot.

It can be safely assumed that Arshi has an affinity of hogging the limelight with the controversies she gets into as she came with quite a few comments about them as a couple. She was also one of the contestants in the eleventh season of a popular show called ‘Big Boss ‘ which is hosted by the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

That tweet was a mistake

Arshi Khan, in 2015, had tweeted that she was physically involved with Shahid Afridi and she doesn’t need to take the permission of Indian media for the same. “Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media’s permission to sleep with someone? It’s my personal life. For me it was love,” her tweet read.

However, she has now admitted that it was her mistake and shouldn’t have addressed Afridi openly. She was recently invited in the show named Juzz Baatt which is hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal where the model also went to say that she respects the cricketer a lot and he has helped her a lot in the past.

“I respect Mr Afridi a lot. He has done a lot for me. That tweet was a mistake and I should not have addressed him openly about such sensitive issues. Afridi Sahaab ke bahut ehsaan hai mujh par (I owe a lot to Afridi sir),” she said.
