Rishi Kapoor roasted by Pakistan cricket fans as they thump India in the finals

India went into the finals with a lot of confidence. They were the firm favorites to beat Pakistan and defend their title successfully. However, things went south for them pretty quickly. Fakhar Zaman capitalized on the lifeline he got and Pakistan batted beautifully.

It was going to be a contest between the best batting side versus the best bowling side. However, the former did not turn up with the bat as well. It was hard for team India to cope up with Pakistan onslaught in the first innings and then they were just outclassed when they were batting. India were absolutely battered yesterday.

It was hard to believe for any cricket fan but Pakistan were just better on the day. They did their country proud and have shown everyone that anything is possible. No one gave Pakistan a chance in the finals as India were superior to them and also had experience. While Pakistan had a side of young and talented players with a very intelligent captain.

All this blended pretty well for them and they are now the ‘champions of champions’ and deservedly so. This win saw a lot of Pakistan fans hit back at the trolls they received after their initial loss to the Indian team. Pakistan team had done them proud and now it was their time to take revenge over some of the hate-tweets they received.

Pakistan won their semis with ease and India also cruised into the finals and after both the semis all the fans were excited about the final clash. It was going to be epic and the Indians were already celebrating. Some of the overconfident fans posted some bullish tweets and declared India the winner even before the game.

Rishi Kapoor, a veteran Bollywood actor, was one of those people. Before the game, he posted a tweet which said that Pakistan should send a proper cricket team because the last time they played India they mistakenly sent their hockey team.

After the finals, Pakistan fans absolutely roasted him. There were all kinds of tweets and he was trolled by almost each and every Pakistan fans. Rishi Kapoor did post a congratulatory message to the Pakistan team but that did not help a great deal.
