The Indian team is currently playing a gruelling 5-match test series in England. But Rohit Sharma is not a part of the Test squad. He excels in white-ball cricket as against Tests which is evident from his records. On his day, Rohit can take the attack to the opposition and play a long innings to take his side to a humungous total. Since Rohit is not featuring in the series, he is spending some quality time with his family and wife Ritika Sajdeh.

Hitman took to Instagram and shared a photo with his wife. He wrote: “Heels + a fairly high step = picture perfect #MyShorty @ritssajdeh.” The duo looks dazzling together and the picture has received praises from fans all over the nation. Though Ritika is wearing heels and standing a step up, she has just managed to match Rohit’s height!

Here’s Rohit Sharma’s post with his wife:

Good limited-overs leg

Earlier on the English tour, Rohit silenced his critics by performing well in the limited-overs leg. He played defining knocks in the 3rd T20I and 1st ODI with two centuries. When the Test team was announced he wasn’t considered for the spot in the middle-order after his below-par performances in South Africa.

He will want to work on his technique against the red ball to break into the playing XI. Sharma likes to be aggressive and score runs, more so it is his technical drawbacks that prevent him from prospering in the longer format of the game.

Rohit will soon start his preparation for the Asia Cup 2018 that gets underway right after the conclusion of the Test series in England. The Indian team will start its campaign on September 18 and then play arch-rivals Pakistan on the second day.
