Rohit Sharma impressed with all-round skills of Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has been handed a one-match ban by the ICC on grounds of breaching the code of conduct. Indian all-rounder will have to miss the final game of the series, but he has already given a good account of his talents in the first two matches of the ongoing Test series against Sri Lanka. The left-arm spinner’s career is on the upswing having already become World no.1 bowler in ICC Test rankings during the England’s tour of India.

The World No.1 all rounder

Jadeja won the man of the match award in the second Test for his exploits with both bat and ball. He took 7 wickets in the match and also scored 70 runs in the first innings which helped India to go past 600 runs. He deservedly bagged the match award, which incidentally was his first away from home.

Ravindra Jadeja seems to have sorted out his batting in the last one year. Owing to his improved showing with the bat in hand, he rose to the No.1 in ICC Rankings for all-rounders. Jadeja has overtaken Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan in the rankings.

Indian team management won’t be happy with the news of Jadeja missing the final test. He gives his best every time he steps on the field. Along with being a handy batsman and world class bowler, Jadeja’s dedication while fielding is of great use too.

No wonder he is popular among his teammates. Indian batsman Rohit Sharma who is a close friend of Ravindra Jadeja took to Instagram to praise the World No.1 bowler and All-rounder. “Great things come from hard work and dedication.
