Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all sports have been cancelled and players have been restricted to stay at home. With this going, many cricketers are having Instagram live chats for their fans. Recently, Rohit Sharma who had engaged with Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant previously decided to do the same with the former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh. But, Rohit’s wife Ritika had different ideas.
On Tuesday, Yuvraj Singh was having an Instagram live chat session with Indian batsman Rohit Sharma when Rohit’s wife Ritika crashed in. Rohit and Yuvraj were discussing the time when they first met after the current India opener was selected in the national side.
Rohit Sharma revealed many incidents during Instagram live
During the interaction, Rohit revealed that during his first tour for India, he had mistakenly kept his kit bag on Yuvi’s seat in the team bus. Yuvraj decided to tell Rohit that he must vacate the seat and take another seat. During this talk, Ritika asked, “What about the first time you met me?”
“There was an incident in which I had entered the team bus early, I was half an hour early and I had taken the seat which was originally reserved for Yuvraj. He then entered the bus and I thought– that is how you make an entry,” Rohit said.
“He asked me ‘do you know whose seat this is’? He then said, ‘get up, it is my seat, you go sit on another seat’. RP Singh had told me that the seat was Yuvraj’s but I still chose to sit there. Having said this, we have a good relationship now,” he added.
Over the years, Yuvraj and Rohit have grown closer and now share a good relationship with each other. Ritika also joined in the conversation later and when Rohit turned on the back camera, it was seen that Ritika was sitting in front of him. She had also posted in the comment box a few times during the chat.
Recently, Anushka Sharma had done something similar when Virat Kohli and Kevin Pietersen were having a live chat on Instagram. Anushka, Virat’s wife commented “chalo chalo it’s dinner time” towards the end of the chat. This prompted the two legends to finally stop their conversation.
Pietersen later out a post as well on this. He wrote, “When the BOSS said time was up, time was up! @anushkasharma @virat.kohli Hope you all enjoyed that? Just two dudes hanging out…”
