The Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to finish their league stages with a win under their belt when they lock horns with the Chennai Super Kings at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on May 20. They would be heading into that contest on the back of an emphatic 24-run win over the Lucknow Super Giants last weekend.

Ahead of their next encounter against CSK, the New Zealand trio of Trent Boult. James Neesham and Daryl Mitchell were involved in a hilarious musical performance as they decided to take their Bollywood lip-sync to the next level. The song on which they performed is one of the most comical and famous songs in the Hindi film industry.

New Zealand trio from RR groove to the famous song from Phir Hera Pheri

Taking to their official Twitter handle, the Rajasthan Royals posted a video of their New Zealand superstars Trent Boult, Jimmy Neesham, and Daryl Mitchell recreating the famous song ‘Aye Meri Zohrajabeen’ from the 2006 superhit movie Phir Hera Pheri that was sung by the renowned playback singer Himesh Reshammiya.

What really stands out here is that only Boult is able to lip-sync the very first line of the song to perfection while the others try their level best to get it right. As the song progresses, the trio who are imitating the main cast of Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, and Akshay Kumar by wearing sunglasses, can be seen making some funny gestures after which they sign off with a burst of laughter.

Coming back to the contest, even a loss to the Chennai Super Kings will not end the Rajasthan Royals’ campaign as they are already in the safe zone with eight wins from 13 matches and 16 points to their tally. Therefore, this game will decide whether the Royals go on to play in the Qualifier 1 or the Eliminator next week. A win here for the 2008 winners will seal their place in the first Qualifier as they have a far superior net run rate as compared to the Lucknow Super Giants.
