Whoever said that if one the almighty closes one door for you, he will open another, set S Sreesanth up for life. The cricketer, who was banned from all forms of cricket because of his involvement in a hideous spot-fixing scandal in the Indian Premier League, is now concentrating on building his body.

The pacer from Kothamangalam, Kerala made his debut for the nation thirteen years ago and things were going smoothly for him when a monsoon cloud broke free on him. Sreesanth, who was then playing for the Rajasthan Royals franchise, was accused of spot-fixing alongside Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan. The infamous incident took place in 2013 and lead people to question the sanctity of the beautiful game.

Since then, the owner o 87 Test wickets has made multiple appeals to overturn the ban, but all went in vain. He has also appeared in various news channels to voice his views about the ‘injustice’ he was subjected to. Finally, Sreesanth gave up and went searching for an alternative career.

The 35-year-old found one in acting. He successfully got a role in Bollywood movie Aksar 2, and there has been no looking back for him ever since. As of now, Sree, as he was lovingly called by his Indian teammates, is miles away from cricket, busy building his body in the gym and brushing up his acting skills for his next acting venture in a film titled ‘Kempegowda 2’.

A new ladykiller in the town

Sreesanth has uploaded his workout video on Instagram and the world, especially the fairer sex has gone gaga ever since. In the video, the man who has played over 50 ODIs for the country is seen flaunting his body, which will be safe to say is a work of art. The Runway from Bazanji is running in the background which makes the video even more dramatic. The caption reads “#hardwork #dedication #determination #discipline ..#@lifestyle”.
