Sreesanth, for the most part of his career was in the fulcrum of some controversy or the other. Talk about the face-off with Andre Nel in a Test match or taunting Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden after sending them back to the pavilion in the semi-final of the World T20 2007, the discarded cricketer has had a taste of all.

Nonetheless, an altercation which everyone seems to remember is which involved Sreesanth and fellow countryman Harbhajan Singh as the latter lay his hands on the fast bowler when he wished him ‘hard luck’ since Harbhajan’s team Mumbai Indians lost their third consecutive match during the first season of IPL in 2008.

The infamous incident came to light when Sreesanth was captured by TV cameras sobbing uncontrollably before the presentation ceremony. In spite of the incident getting widespread attention, the two Indian cricketers patched up and Sreesanth referred to Harbhajan as his elder brother. Bhajji who was part of the Mumbai Indians’ set up was banned for the rest of the tournament after he was found guilty.

Sreesanth reveals the reaction

The former Kings XI Punjab speedster has talked about the saga several times, however, disseminated some surprising news about it in the Big Boss House. Sreesanth has demonstrated it to a lady from the Big Boss on how he felt helpless while he was hit and thus burst into tears. Here’s the video tweet of the same.

The Kerala fast bowler is known for his animated gestures, especially while celebrating a wicket and is also known for his emotional behaviour. He has been handed out several warnings by the BCCI on account of discipline and the violation of the code of conduct.

Sreesanth had been banned for life when during the 2013 season of IPL, he was alleged for involvement in spot-fixing. He has been fighting the case in the courts but the BCCI hasn’t budged from its stance.
