Sachin Tendulkar’s numbers in his illustrious international career for India are worth envying. He racked up as many as 100 centuries, donning the national colours and the records don’t seem to be broken anytime soon in the near future. The Master Blaster retired from the sport back in 2013, however, his fandom hasn’t been affected by any stretch of the imagination.

After his retirement, his son Arjun Tendulkar has been hogging the headlines. Junior Tendulkar recently played for India U19 in the tour of Sri Lanka. However, he was only considered for the first class matches and not for the limited-overs fixtures as he won’t be eligible to play for the 2020 U19 World Cup. In the meantime, his daughter, Sara is also making the family proud.

Sachin proud for Sara

The 20-year-old recently completed her graduation in medicine from the prestigious University College of London (UCL). She was seen in a black graduation gown and a cap. Co-incidentally, her mother Anjali Tendulkar is also a doctor. Both Sachin and Anjali attended Sara’s ceremony. The college had a checklist for the event on its website.

The students were instructed to carry safety pins, hair grips, a bottle of water and a pair of shoes to avoid blisters. Following her accomplishment, Sara didn’t miss out on getting clicked with her proud parents. Sara Tendulkar is a popular figure on the social media platforms and the pictures went viral in no time and have seen a significant amount of engagement.

After her daughter’s achievement, Sachin Tendulkar couldn’t hold on to his emotions and expressed his pride in Sara. He took to Twitter and wrote, “It feels like just yesterday when you left home for @ucl, and now you are a Graduate. Anjali and I are so proud of you! May you go out and conquer the Sara,”
