India lost the second semifinal of the World T20 to West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Indian captain MS Dhoni was looking for a second World T20 title, but after the defeat, has seen support from all corners of the country, including his wife, Sakshi Dhoni.
Sakshi Dhoni left a lovely message on her Facebook account mentioning MS Dhoni, she wrote on her Facebook page that
“Always with you Mahi. Bleed blue forever. We love you Team India whether you win or lose. You gave us happy memories last month and pulled off miracles. You made us smile many times. Losing is not the end of the world. We love you captain.”
Indian fans however, dejected at the loss of their team, seemed to have shown brilliant maturity in supporting the team after the loss instead of abusing the players or shouting slogans asking Dhoni to retire. Even the Indian media has been very supportive of the team and all have supported the team and MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have been in the center of the support.
India had made 192/2 on a flat Mumbai wicket thanks to a couple of 40s from Mumbai lads Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane and a brilliant and wonderful 89* from the one and only Virat Kohli. Kohli showed that he had great control on the game and his running between the wickets was too good.

India got a great start when Bumrah castled the dangerous Chris Gayle, but a 97 run partnership between Johnson Charles who made 52 and Lendl Simmons who stayed not out for 82* and Andre Russell’s 43 ensured that West Indies reached the target safely. The main culprit for India were the two no balls of which Simmons was dismissed, but called back and Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya’s uninspiring bowling performance.
Jadeja went for 48 runs in his 4 overs and Pandya went for 43 in his 4 overs. At the end, West Indian big hitting trumped Kohli’s innings and West Indies will now play England at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on the 3rd of April in the finals.
