The couple of Sakshi and MS Dhoni is among the most talked-about pairs in the Indian cricketing fraternity. Both knew each other since childhood but only fell in love decades later. They went to the same school in Ranchi. However, Sakshi’s family shifted to Dehradun and the two couldn’t stay in touch other the years. Nevertheless, fate had different plans for them.
After almost a decade, they met in Kolkata- The City of Joy- at the Taj Bengal. Sakshi was an intern at the hotel and was introduced to Dhoni by her manager Yudhajit Dutta. The couple finally started dating in 2008. Sakshi even attended Dhoni’s 27th birthday, the same year when the wicketkeeper-batsman captained the Chennai Super Kings for the maiden time in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Sakshi and MSD’s ethereal relationship
On July 4, 2010, the lovebirds finally entered wedlock. It was a low-key affair as even the media wasn’t allowed anywhere near the venue of the high-profile wedding. Many people from the sports, film and political fraternity attended the ceremony. Their bond has only become stronger ever since.
Sakshi has been rooting for CSK whenever the Yellow Army takes the field. After their victory, MSD’s better half was also seen with her husband on the cricket ground. The veteran turned 37 today and quite expectantly, Sakshi is over the moon on the occasion. She took to Instagram and posted a picture of theirs.
Along with the post, she also wrote, “Happy Bday to you ! Even words wont do justice to how you are as a human being … 10 years i have learnt a lot from you … and continue to .. thank u for making me see and deal with life in a straightforward practical way .. .. Lot’s of love n also thank u for making my life so beautiful !”
