'Salute to all corona warriors' - Irfan and Yusuf Pathan provide Vadodara City Police with Vitamin C tablets in their fight against pandemic

The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic is still troubling the world. Almost 3.5 million positive cases have been registered across the world even as India is closing in on the 40,000-mark despite being under the lockdown since March 24. Rather it has been extended until May 17 to contain the spread of the pandemic. During this period, the doctors, nurses, police among others have been working tirelessly for the betterment of the country.

Across the country, the police have taken care that the people don’t break the rules imposed by the government and are making sure there are no unnecessary gatherings as well. Vadodara City police also have been doing their job duly and to help them, the state’s two of the best cricketers have come forward.

Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan provided the Vadodara police with Vitamin C tablets to boost immunity and keep them strong in their fight against the Coronavirus. The Twitter handle of the Vadodara City police thanked both the cricketers for their kind gesture.

Big Salute to our police force, says Irfan Pathan

Responding to the tweet, Irfan Pathan saluted the police force for tirelessly working during these emergency times and saving lives of people. “Big salute to our police force for doing great work in this tough time of corona pandemic,” his tweet read. Meanwhile, Yusuf Pathan also thanked the police for their excellent work and assured them all are together in this fight against the pandemic.

This is not the first time that the Pathan brothers that they have lent a helping hand during these tough times. Earlier, they had donated the face masks to the poor people in their area after which they also distributed about 10000 kg rice and 700 kg potato to help the needy people.
