Indian tennis star Sania Mirza said that her husband Shoaib Malik is blessed with a super fit body and expects him to play for more years. Pakistani middle-order-batter Malik recently turned 40 and it seems like he still has what it takes to play cricket in him and has no plans to retire from the thing he loves the most.

In the latest interview, Sania labeled her husband as the epitome of a healthy lifestyle. Malik, who made his debut way back in 1999, still looks fit as a fiddle and continues to impress with the bat along with being a live wire in the field.

“Shoaib is exceptional and is so blessed. He really works hard on himself to stay at his best. He is a very good example of a healthy lifestyle. He can definitely in my opinion and I have said this to him that if you can mentally take the pressure, so play for two more years,” said Sania Mirza in an interview with Cricket Pakistan.

Sania also discussed her other ventures with husband Shoaib Malik

Sania also talked about her future endeavors with her husband which included businesses or she might enter into showbiz with her husband.

“We thoroughly enjoyed the launch of our perfume and that was different for the both of us. Like the perfume launch, we are thinking of getting into other businesses and exploring other avenues. You might have to ask Shoaib about his decision but for me personally, I am too camera shy to be an actor,” she added.

Mirza also disclosed that they are in talks for Shoaib-Sania biopic.” Yes, we are in conversation with some people regarding the biopic. The process has been slowed down a lot due to the pandemic but yes, our contact is with the people.”

Even though they take advice from each other, they refrain from indulging in each other’s personal matters

The tennis star further added that she and Malik do take advice from each other but refrain from interfering in professional matters. Sania, who’ll retire from tennis by the end of 2022 said that her retirement decision was made solely by her but Malik supported it too.

“We value and support each other but, in the end, we always go with our gut as we both are professional athletes. We are playing for many years. He has always been supportive and he told me that he’s behind this decision.”
