Being a celebrity and living a ‘public’ life is certainly not easy. Every tweet, every post, and every comment that a celebrity makes is in the public eye, and the media is always waiting for an opportunity to latch onto some news.

Recently, Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfaraz Ahmed were involved in a Twitter exchange. It all started with Hafeez tweeting that Mohammad Rizwan was the best wicketkeeper for the Pakistan side. To this, Pakistan wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed responded by stating that whoever has played for the Pakistan side deserves to occupy the No.1 position.

You can see Hafeez’s tweet and Sarfaraz’s retaliation to it below:

“I have never had problems with any cricketer so far,” clarifies Mohammad Hafeez

Now, Mohammad Hafeez has addressed the issue. The Pakistan all-rounder stated that Sarfraz is as dear to him as compared to the other cricketers. He also said that he has not had problems with any cricketer thus far in his career and also added that he has never competed with another person.

“Sarfaraz is as dear to me as other cricketers. I have never had problems with any cricketer so far. I always praise everyone and never compete with a person,” said Hafeez in a chat with Geo News.

Apart from opening up on the spat with Sarfaraz, Hafeez also threw light on how he decided to focus on his power hitting and stated that in several leagues around the world, the willow wielders focus on hitting sixes.

“In other leagues, batsmen focus on hitting sixes. Hence, I decided to work on my power hitting,” said Hafeez, throwing light on the area on which he has been working at regarding his batting.

Sarfaraz Ahmed has also spoken about the same issue as well. The Pakistan wicketkeeper stated that he had no complaints against Hafeez for his comments, and remarked that Hafeez is his ‘elder’ as well. Sarfaraz concluded by stating that he has always respected Hafeez and will continue to do so in the future as well.

“I have no complaints against Mohammad Hafeez. He is my elder, I have always respected him and will continue to do so,” concluded Sarfaraz.

And surely, all is well that ends well.
