Sarfaraz Khan reveals his favourite Bollywood actress

He had to pick one from Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.

In India, cricket and Bollywood are the two most popular trades and go hand in hand. Every now and then there is news of some celebrity from the Bollywood being linked up with an Indian cricketer. India’s former speedster Zaheer Khan recently tied the knot with Chak De India fame Sagarika Ghatge while Indian skipper Virat Kohli is in a relationship with Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma for a long time.

Talking about Bollywood actresses recently, Sarfaraz Khan who came to limelight during the 2015 edition of the IPL voted Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh over Katrina Kaif in a poll done by a portal Instantbollywood on Instagram. Fatima had portrayed the role of Gita Phogat in the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal which is the story of Indian wrestlers Gita and Babita Phogat who have brought the country various laurels. Amir acted as her father cum coach in the movie which was a massive hit and broke a number of records at the box-office.

She got praises from every corner of the fraternity as well as the fans for her brilliant performance in the movie which was based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Ever since her big break, Fatima’s fan following has just exploded and a new name has entered the list with Sarfaraz choosing her over Katrina Kaif.

Sarfaraz played very handy knocks for his IPL side Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2015 edition of the tournament. In one of the games against Rajasthan Royals, Khan took the score of the side to 200 when he smacked 45 runs off just 21 deliveries. He played some unorthodox shots like the reverse sweep and scoops.

The Mumbai-born 20-year old big hitter has been out of the cricketing action for some time because of a major injury. He missed the 2016 edition of the IPL and hasn’t featured in the domestic season either where he represents Uttar Pradesh.
