Pakistan created history last Sunday at the Kenning Oval in London, by clinching the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time. Before going into the tournament, no one except the Pakistani fans termed the green shirts as favourites. After getting a thrashing defeat at the hands of rival team India in their very first match, only the optimistic of the fans had faith in the team.

But what a superb turnaround it has been for them. Pulling off the mother of all comebacks, Pakistan handed the same thrashing to India in the final. It has been celebrations for the men in green ever since. They have shut down all the criticism with their scintillating performances. While many Indian fans may have broken their TV sets and burnt the posters of the players in anger, the relation between the players of the two nations is quite sound.

After the humiliating defeat, Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh were seen laughing with Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik. The light-hearted moment went viral. But now, another video has gone viral and this time the video may not depict the sound relationship between the players from both teams. It was shot when Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed was celebrating with the fans.

No issues with celebrating after the victory, but he was singing. No issues with singing a well, but the song was “Mauka Mauka”. The same song that was used in an advertisement ahead of ICC World Cup 2015’s match between India and Pakistan. Pakistan has never defeated India in a World Cup game and the song meant that Pakistan has got another chance to get the better of Men in Blue.

While Pakistan failed to make an impact in that World Cup and that advertisement campaign was over, the song kept on circulating. It rose to the peak of popularity and was not restricted to India. The song spread like wildfire all across the Asian cricket-playing nations. Pakistan fans felt humiliated after listening to the song. This time, Pakistan is on top.
