Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan reckoned that he has found bowling to Rohit Sharma and David Warner the most difficult in his career. Rohit has been a fulcrum of the Indian batting lineup, especially in ODIs and T20Is, and over the last two years, he has made a name for himself in Test cricket as well. Earlier this year, he also notched his maiden overseas Test ton against England.

The 34-year-old Rohit has recently been named as Team India’s limited-overs skipper, replacing Virat Kohli. Thereafter, he guided the Men in Blue to a 3-0 series whitewash over New Zealand in the T20Is. Rohit has recently sustained a hamstring strain and won’t be a part of the three-match Test series in South Africa.

Warner, on the other hand, had a tremendous campaign for Australia in the T20 World Cup 2021. The Aussies won the mega event for the first time and Warner became the Player of the Tournament. In the meantime, one of the fans on Twitter asked Shadab about the two batters he has found tough to bowl at.

Thereafter, Shadab replied with the names of Warner and Rohit. The fan asked Shadab and wrote, “@76Shadabkhan Who is the most difficult batsman to bowl? #Askshadab.” Shadab replied to the fan an wrote, “Rohit Sharma and Warner,”

As far as Shadab is concerned, he made his debut for Pakistan back in 2017 and has played all three formats for them. In six Tests, 48 ODIs and 64 T20Is, the youngster has picked up 14, 62 and 73 wickets respectively. He is also more than handy as a batter, having scored six half-centuries at the highest level.

Shadab also has a first-class century to his name from 17 matches. The tweaker is now set to ply his trade for the Islamabad United in the 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League. The draft for the upcoming edition recently took place on December 12.

In 52 PSL matches, Shadab has picked up 46 wickets at a decent economy rate of 7.40. In fact, he is eighth in the list of leading wicket-takers in the history of the tournament. Shadab is no mug with the willow either, having batted in the top order quite a few times.
