Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is arguably the most talked about name in the Indian cricket at the moment. He might have stepped down from the coveted captaincy post but continues to reign supreme among the fans. His fan base knows no bounds – from cricketers to actors, all hail the man from Ranchi. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is never short on words when describing MS Dhoni. However, in a recent tweet, he chose a word to perfectly describe the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman. Shah Rukh Khan was asked by a fan to describe MS Dhoni using just one word.

However, in a recent tweet, he chose a word to perfectly describe the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman. Shah Rukh Khan was asked by a fan to describe MS Dhoni using just one word. In a very fitting reply to which most people would agree to, SRK tweeted, “Awesomeness”. This is not the first time Shah Rukh Khan has been seen praising Dhoni. Recently, the Bollywood actor was live on Star Sports to promote his new release ‘Raees’. In an exclusive with Star Sports, he was asked to give a name to cricketers based on his movie releases of the past.

Talking about the former Indian skipper MS Dhoni, Shah Rukh had said Dhoni doesn’t need to do sledging ever. His mind is ticking so fast, I am sure batsmen could hear that. He also added that Dhoni is that guy who can play the last bet, without anyone realising gets a bowler that you never expected to bowl the final over like in the world T20 ( referring to the 2007 ICC T20I World Cup final, where he had asked Joginder Sharma to bowl the final over). He named Mahi “Baazigar” for his decision-making skills on the field, that comes off well more often than not.

A fan also asked him to give his best wishes to the Indian team since they will face England in the 2nd T20I tomorrow having lost the first match. SRK said, ‘India has to win tomorrow’

This is not the first time a Bollywood actor has spoken in awe for the former Indian skipper. Earlier, when MS Dhoni had stepped down from the captaincy post, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan had lauded his decision and written a couple of lines for him. Amitabh had cited that Dhoni has the character traits of a true leader.

He did not let his ego come in between and is ready to play under the leadership of someone else. He had lauded Dhoni’s decision to step down as the captain. He had tweeted, “T 2494 – So MS Dhoni retires from Captaincy, but open for selection .. this true quality of a leader .. !! better ‘why’ than face ‘why not’.”
