Legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne had bought back his Brighton mansion for around $14 million and $16 million as a renovation rescue with ex-wife Simone Callahan.
Melville, the single-storey c1880 Victorian while have a 3014 square metre block which contains tennis court and pool, includes six bedrooms among which one occupies a house wing, seven bathrooms, a nine-seat theatre and four car garage.
A whopping amount of around $3.6 million was spent by the couple for Melville in 2000. It was reportedly known that the purchase was meant for investing that amount again on a refurbishment before he sold it for $8.8 million to locals in 2007. They, in turn, on-sold it to the current vendors for $10.1 million in 2009.
The price of Melville in 2014 was listed at $15 million. When contacted, JP Dixon director Jonathan Dixon, he confirmed Melville sold for between $14 million and $16 million, but would not disclose any other detail, including the purchaser.

Meanwhile, Warne listed his mini manor for sale at 11 Kinane Street. That home, Camden, is on the market in the $5 million to $6 million range. However, Warne reportedly paid just under $4 million for the Kinane Street home in late 2014.
Shane Warne is considered to one of finest spinners the cricketing world had ever witnessed and to be the one who showcased the importance of leg-spin in international cricket. He finished as the second leading wicket taker in Test cricket history, behind Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan. He took a Test hat-trick, won the ‘Man of the Match’ prize in a World Cup final and was named as the subject of seven books. He was also the first cricketer to reach 700 Test wickets.
