Due to the coronavirus debacle, the whole world has been put under lockdown and people are currently spending their time in self-isolation. The pandemic has taken a toll on many sporting events too as all the major sporting tournaments have either been called off or postponed. India is also currently under lockdown after PM Narendra Modi‘s announcement of a 21-day lockdown.

Amid these trying times, many cricketers are spending their idle time while interacting with fans on social media. Many cricketers have also shared hilarious clips during their isolation time. Jasprit Bumrah, on Friday, shared an adorable clip of Rohit Sharma’s daughter Samaira copying the speedster’s bowling action. In the clip, the toddler can be seen imitating Bumrah’s bowling while playing with dad Rohit Sharma amid the lockdown situation.

Bumrah also was awestruck by the clip and wrote that he has turned into her fan after watching the video. “I think she does it better than me! I can safely say I am a bigger fan of hers than she is of me,” wrote the Indian speedster on his Twitter account.

Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah recently had a chat on Instagram live

Recently, both the Mumbai Indians players had an Instagram live chat where they poked fun at many cricketers including Rishabh Pant and Yuzvendra Chahal. Rohit and Bumrah also discussed the possibility of IPL 2020 being hosted in the near future. The duo also opened up about their current routine, favourite TV shows and cooking skills.

Over the years, the two Indian stalwarts have established themselves as the forerunners of Mumbai Indians’ setup. The Mumbai-based franchise– which is one of the most successful franchises in the history of IPL– will be vying to add another trophy in their pocket. The Rohit Sharma-led side had clinched the IPL 2019 trophy by defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final last year.

IPL 2020, which was first slated to commence from March 29th, was postponed further to April 15th. However, considering the current situation across the globe, the tournament has landed into hot waters and its feasibility looks quite slim due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus.
